Sort by any column. Hitch separates hardware that comes in the box from a machine that is merely capable of towing.

What to carry into the store
- T2200K: confirm the actual widest point with the discharge chute raised. Lowe's currently publishes 42 inches overall, but that figure is unusually narrow for this type of 42-inch side-discharge tractor.
- Hitch question: ask “does the mower leave the store with the drawbar and hitch hardware my pin-style lawn cart needs?” rather than “can it tow?” The answers are not equivalent.
- Bagger question: get the exact SKU onto the same order. For Craftsman T110/T2200/T2200K the relevant family is the 42/46-inch 6.5-bushel double bagger, Lowe's item 1136131. Deere S100/S110/S130 use BUC10284, Lowe's item 2593139. Greenworks uses its 42-inch dual-bin residential rider kit. Toro uses the TimeCutter twin bagger, part 79410, sold as the current Lowe's 42-inch Series 2 bagger.
- Heavy wet grass: the power and control combination matters more than nominal deck width. A V-twin plus hydrostatic control lets you drop ground speed instantly while blade RPM stays up.
Where this data is soft
Recorded rather than resolved. Nothing below has been silently corrected — the original figures stand exactly as researched.
- Passage widths are not measured the same way. Ariens publishes a chute-up figure, 46.3 inches, alongside a 54.8-inch chute-down figure. Deere's S100 number is stated chute-up. Every other row gives an overall width without saying which. Rows tagged basis unstated are therefore not strictly comparable with the chute-up ones, and a chute-down number will read wider than the machine really needs to be.
- Three widths for what should be one chassis family. The Craftsman 42-inch tractors are published at 48 (T110), 47 (T2200) and 42 inches (T2200K). The Deere 42-inch tractors are published at 46.5 (S100) and 55.2 inches (S110, S130). Both spreads are larger than a deck change explains. Treat the narrow end of each as the one to verify.
- Prices are store-gated planning signals. Package figures tagged estimate or signal contain at least one number that is inferred or comes from a bundle listing rather than a checkout total. The Ariens package in particular carries a placeholder bagger price; its mower price alone is the researched number.
- Toro pricing did not settle. The research notes carry three different mower prices for the 22-HP TimeCutter across two passes. The higher one is used here.
- The Greenworks package figure came from a different SKU. The $2,999.99 + $609 arithmetic was researched against the 24-HP-equivalent CrossoverZ; the row links the 32-HP SKU, whose price was left as “verify”.
- The Cub Cadet CC30H is a later addition, and its ratings are calibrated rather than researched. Its hard numbers — 30-inch cut, 38-inch width, hydrostatic drive, standard hitch, the 19A30014GFP bagger, and the $2,712.99 order total — come from the actual 2026-08-09 purchase record, so they are the firmest figures on the page. Its subjective 0–5 scores for heavy-grass capability, control, service, towing and wet turf were not produced by the original research pass; they were set by comparison against the rows that were, chiefly the Craftsman R110, which is the same class of machine. Treat them as consistent with the table rather than independently sourced.
- Scoring is a decision aid, not a rating. The weights favour heavy-grass capability, then control, then price, then service. Unverified gate widths score below confirmed fits on purpose, so an unmeasured machine can never rank as if it fits.
